Patient identity

One patient, one identity — no duplicates

Patient uniqueness is guaranteed by a battle-tested architecture aligned with international best practices for hospital patient identity management.

Robust identifiers

Every patient receives a permanent identifier ready to print as a QR code, plus a human-readable code with a check digit that staff can use confidently at the front desk.

Smart duplicate detection

A probabilistic Master Patient Index (MPI) compares each new record against existing patients — even when there are typos, accents, or differently formatted phone numbers — and blocks creation when a likely duplicate is found.

Guaranteed uniqueness

Built-in safeguards make identifier collisions physically impossible, even when several staff members create records at the same time.
