Our mission
Why ecoMed24
Give African healthcare institutions an integrated platform that saves time for clinical teams, makes medical data more reliable and tangibly improves the patient journey — from appointment booking to billing.
About us
We are a team of caregivers, engineers and designers convinced that a modern healthcare system must rely on a single patient record — shared, secure and accessible — everywhere, by every actor of care.
Our mission
Give African healthcare institutions an integrated platform that saves time for clinical teams, makes medical data more reliable and tangibly improves the patient journey — from appointment booking to billing.
Our story
ecoMed24 was born from a simple observation: in most healthcare facilities, information still moves on paper or between applications that do not talk to each other.
Our founders — coming from hospital practice and software engineering — decided to build a single platform, designed for African realities: variable connectivity, multi-site, multi-language, OHADA and CDP compliance.
Our values
Our impact
Beyond technology, ecoMed24 carries a social ambition: to make quality care more accessible and more affordable for everyone, everywhere in Africa.
Accessibility
Accessibility. A platform designed to work even with limited connectivity, multi-language and multi-site, usable in an urban university hospital as well as in a rural health centre. The patient record follows the person, not the institution.
Affordability
Affordability. By digitalising flows (appointments, prescriptions, billing, stock), we cut administrative costs for institutions — savings that can be reinvested in care and passed on to patients. Less paper, fewer redundant tests, fewer costly errors.
Cost reduction
Healthcare system cost reduction. A single shared record avoids duplicate tests, smooths the journey and lets payers (insurers, mutuals, the State) better steer spending. It is a concrete lever to widen health coverage without exploding budgets.
